  Story
  
  KGF movie deals with mother and son relationship. The movie appears to be set in the backdrop of 1978 while the initial proceeding of the birth of the protagonist happening in 1951.
  
  Yash elopes to the erstwhile Bombay in 1951 and would form to be a tough young man in 1978. The plot of the movie might focus on slavery and domination of certain cadre of people against the poor and downtrodden. The protagonist will ascertain the scene, understand the proceedings and then would stand against the evil to protect the good.

   kannada film KGF (Kolar Gold Fields), directed by Prashanth Neel, is the talk of the town. The trailer of the upcoming film was unveiled in a grand ceremony in Bengaluru and Chennai attended by many film personalities.
  
  The trailer of the first part of KGF (planned as a two-part series) was released on YouTube in five languages, namely Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam. Film buffs from across the country are going gaga about the trailer and its gritty content.
  
  KGF's trailer begins with a scene depicting the birth of Rocky (Yash). The film focusses on Rocky's difficult childhood in Mumbai and how he became a gangster.
  
  Reports suggest that KGF is one of the biggest films ever made in Kannada.
  
  
  
   
   The trailer for the first part of Kannada biggie KGF has just landed on YouTube in all the five languages that it’s going to release in – Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.
  
  The marketing team behind the film should be proud of the noise they’ve been creating since the project was announced. The trailer is every bit what it promises to be – an epic spectacle.
  
  The aesthetics seem to have been borrowed from S. S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali (the shot of chained-men wailing, in the KGF trailer, will remind you of George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road, and, a man emerging from the crowd to become a powerful figure will take you back to the rise of the underdog from Rajamouli’s Chatrapathi).
  
  Every Indian period movie that has marched toward the silver screen since 2015 (Padmaavat, Gautamiputra Satakarni, and Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi) has aspired to go a step beyond the Baahubali experience. And KGF might just be “the one”.
  
  
  
  The film, directed by Prashanth Neel, has been in the making for over two years now, and it tells the story of the protagonist (played by Yash), along with the birth of a town (Kolar Gold Fields).
  
  There couldn’t have been a better actor to introduce the character and the setting than Anant Nag’s booming voice (different actors have been roped in for different languages). The trailer opens with the quote, “The ending, to all great stories is written by destiny.”
  
  So, we might be witnessing some kind of a ritualistic ending in this movie.
  
  Prashanth, like Sujeeth who’s directing the new Prabhas film Saaho, has captained the ship for only one movie so far – Ugramm,  starring Sriimurali, Tilak, and Haripriya. But that hasn’t stopped these young filmmakers from dreaming big.
  
  The first part, in the two-part KGF series, looks like it’s going to focus on the journey of Yash’s character, who’s named Rocky (doesn’t this sound a lot like the trajectory that Vetri Maaran’s Vada Chennai takes?).
  
  Yash’s rugged look gels well with the dusty town he’s put in. Achyuth Kumar, in his white shirt and wire-rimmed glasses, might be playing an evil politician. And Srinidhi Shetty, the first timer, definitely appears to be playing a character from the upper classes.
  
  Bhuvan Gowda’s cinematography ups the quality of its rustic feel, and Ravi Basrur’s enticing score is perfect for its nitty-gritties in the 164-second trailer.
  
  Every shot has been carefully pieced together and it’s easily one of the best trailers of the year. With Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani, Anil Thadani, Vishal, and Sai Korrapati joining the team of KGF, the movie has a big chance of becoming a global blockbuster.
